Another superb London guidebook with recommendations for hotels, restaurants, London walks and extensive information on London's areas and sights. Not as opinionated as some of the others, but where this book excels is in its extensive use of colour photographs. You will have a good idea of what London looks like before you even get there! Bill Bryson is my favourite travel writer and this is probably his funniest book. An affectionate and witty look at Britain written while taking a journey around the country.
